Apprenticeship Week

Recognising the role of Apprenticeships for students & employers

Apprenticeship Week 23rd-27th February 2009.

Anyone who has ever seen Sir Alan Sugar’s “The Apprentice” will appreciate just how hard apprentices work and how valued they are by employers. Apprenticeship Week, aims to raise the profile of apprenticeships in the workplace, highlight their benefits in tackling the issue of crucial skills shortages, and celebrate the achievements of apprentices and the role they play in today’s business, as well as encouraging more employers to take on apprentices.

As well as the national campaign fronted by Sir Alan Sugar, City College will be involved in events throughout the week that will raise the profile of Apprenticeships and how they can work for you.
